About AZMSC:

The Arizona Emergency Medicine Medical Student Council (AZMSC) was established in 2018 to connect medical students across Arizona who have a shared interest and passion for Emergency Medicine. This council is the first of its kind to unite students from all medical schools who are pursuing a career in EM.

What is the AZMSC?

AZMSC is a unique platform that brings together students from various medical schools across Arizona who are interested in EM. It serves as a collaborative network where students can exchange resources, knowledge, and experiences. Through this organization, members can achieve their personal and professional goals while promoting membership in AzCEP and EMRA. It also provides a valuable opportunity for students to engage with local and national leaders in EM.

Our Goals:

1. Provide Arizona medical students with opportunities to connect, plan, and lead EM events at local and state levels.

2. Promote teamwork among EM Interest Groups (EMIGs) across the state.

3. Build a network of resources to help Arizona students interested in EM reach their career goals.

4. Serve as a forum for sharing ideas, research, and knowledge to inspire collaboration among EM-focused students.

5. Facilitate connections between medical students and local/state EM leaders.
